Office Depot chosen as the premier "Office Supplies Superstore" available on Microsoft`s Tools on the Web site

Office Depot, Inc., (NYSE:ODP), the world`s largest seller of office products announced today that in conjunction with its previously announced strategic alliance with Microsoft, it will begin to offer Office XP to its North American retail, catalog and Internet customers.
Additionally, the Company has joined forces with Microsoft to bring Office XP customers the 24-hour convenience of ordering office supplies through Office Depot`s own web site www.officedepot.com. Office Depot has been chosen by Microsoft as the official co-branded "Office Supplies Superstore" available on Microsoft`s Tools on the Web site (http://office.microsoft.com), which is integrated into Microsoft Office XP. Through the "Tools on the Web" navigation in Office XP, customers can access Office Depot`s award-winning web site www.officedepot.com as part of their online tools to run their business.
Office XP provides users with the tools needed to work more productively. It delivers a smarter work experience by making productivity simple, enabling collaboration for all users and extending Office XP beyond the desktop.
