Former NCR Executive Brings Record of Success Driving Profitable Sales Organizations
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - May 29, 2001 - Annuncio Software, Inc. today announced that Romano Durini has joined Annuncio`s management team as senior vice president of field operations. Durini previously held leadership positions at NCR over a 23-year period, most recently as general manager and sales director of the Hawaiian Islands and Western Pacific region. His responsibilities at Annuncio will include driving Annuncio`s global sales activities, expanding Annuncio`s sales channels and building a world-class services organization.

While serving as NCR`s general manager and sales director, Durini successfully grew the sales and service organization in an economically challenging market by providing critical enterprise solutions to key global financial institutions. Previous to this role, he served as NCR`s vice president of sales where he increased revenue to $65 million in two years penetrating high technology customers with mission critical enterprise applications. Durini also spent five years as vice president for sales and service for NCR`s western division, where he was responsible for an operation with revenue exceeding $340 million and 1,400 associates. Under his direction, sales orders doubled and revenue increased from $230 million to $340 million.
