Global Sports Inc., a developer and operator of e-commerce sporting goods businesses, today announced that former Fogdog Inc. CEO Tim Harrington has resigned from Global Sports. Global Sports acquired Fogdog during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2000 and operates the fogdog.com web site.
Harrington oversaw the launch and growth of the Fogdog web from 1998 to 2000. "I am very grateful to Tim for all of his efforts over the past six months in helping to complete the integration of Fogdog into Global Sports," said Michael G. Rubin, chairman and CEO of Global Sports.
