Tower says the TeaLeaf technology will allow it to identify and solve site errors, gauge the success of key designs and promotions, and analyze customer preferences and behaviors.
"With TowerRecords.com, we`re creating a tool for people to easily find the music and videos they want," said Mark Bressler, managing director at TowerRecords.com. "To do that successfully, we always seek better ways to understand how people will use it. But without highly detailed insight into what customers experience on our site -- both good and bad -- we run the risk of losing them after only one visit. Advanced TeaCommerce 2.0 features like real-time alerts and visual replay make it easier for us to design a site that connects with new customers and keeps them coming back."
The company says that Tower plans to incorporate its own analysis applications into the TeaCommerce system to create a comprehensive knowledge base of online customer interactions, which it will leverage through the TeaCommerce solution`s drill-down custom reporting and analysis. Tower says that with proactive real-time alerts featured in TeaCommerce 2.0, Tower can rapidly identify problems that otherwise could take months to surface.
