Seta Corporation Chooses Angara for Its PalmBeachJewelry.com Online Businesses

Standardizes Co-Branded Sites on Angara Reporter and Angara Optimizer for Dynamic Reporting and Optimization

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--April 17, 2001--Angara, a leading provider of hosted marketing optimization applications, today announced that Seta Corporation, the largest jewelry catalog company in the world, which has developed co-branded jewelry Web sites for companies including JC Penney, Spiegel, Sears, Lane Bryant and Newport News, has selected Angara to provide dynamic reporting and optimization for its roster of Internet businesses. Seta is using Angara products to gain a better understanding of the anonymous visitors coming to its Web sites, enabling them to provide more relevant information, content, and merchandise to anonymous visitors and customers on the very first click, and increase customer conversion rates.

Seta Corporation implemented Angara Reporter in January gaining greater insights on the visitors coming to its co-branded jewelry sites, specifically for JC Penney, Newport News, and Spiegel, as well as its core Web site PalmBeachJewelry.com. In April, Seta will expand its current use of Angara Reporter to cover additional online stores and will also begin using Angara Optimizer, a cross-channel marketing optimization application that automates test-and-control of content and merchandise, and determines the most relevant content for a given consumer. Using Angara Optimizer, Seta will be able to address their varied audiences, delivering and optimizing different content across all participating Web sites on the fly, to improve the effectiveness of a given campaign while its still running.
