BOSTON, Massachusetts- March 22nd, 2001- ProSeed Capital Holdings CVA, a leading international seed investment company incorporated in Belgium, announced today an investment in Kiosk Systems Inc. (KSI), a provider of turnkey kiosk solutions. Currently KSI owns, operates, and services over 170 kiosks, providing public Internet access to companies such as Burger King, Trump Casinos, Logan International Airport, Penn Station, YMCA, and variety of hotel locations including Marriott, Holiday Inn, Best Western and Comfort Inn.

"From simple internet access during a short layover in the airport, to an interactive multi-tiered gaming environment where multiple kiosks are set up in hotels or superstores, the potential uses of kiosks are remarkable," says David Katsnelson, VP US and CFO of ProSeed Capital Holdings CVA. "KSI is uniquely positioned to become the market leader in this environment with their expertise in the running of high quality, user-friendly Internet kiosks, and their dedication to customer service."

Kiosk uses are far-reaching. Capable of public Internet access, or combined with advertising and promotional centers, they can be web-based, cache-based, or touch screen interfaced, and users could potentially complete surveys, mailing lists, or customer satisfaction data. Alternatively, advanced kiosk options offer streaming media content on demand, interactive gaming, or use as self-service automated business centers.

"We are very excited to have ProSeed as an early stage investor and their investment helps to validate our business model," says KSI founder Jim Castellano. "The needs of companies to deliver self-service applications to their customers and the ability of the Internet to offer remote networked solutions defines a tremendous opportunity to deliver innovative location based kiosk solutions. KSI is positioned to be a leader in a market that analysts have defined as poised for rapid growth."
