Barnes & Noble and CPI form e-book partnership

Philippines-based data conversion company will provide bn.com with electronic books.

Barnes & Noble, Inc. and CPI announced a strategic partnership in e-book preparation. CPI, through its newly acquired Philippine data conversion facility EPVI, will provide the necessary back-office services for Barnes & Noble and Barnes&Noble.com; for their digital e-book initiative. EPVI, based in Manila, is a specialist in data conversion from hard copy or electronic format for e-book use with technology for file creation, conversion and management.
