SaleMinder, a provider of e-marketing solutions for retailers, has acquired substantially all of the assets of Shop911, an Internet advertising service for high fashion retailers. "SaleMinder has developed an enterprise software platform (eMarketing Platform) to extend retail web sites with direct marketing functionality to use the web and its wireless extensions to increase brick-and-mortar store sales and enhance brand loyalty," said Prosenjit Sen, founder and CEO of SaleMinder. "Shop911`s extensive experience with world class high fashion retailers has resulted in relationships and technology that will greatly accelerate the development and growth of our business." SaleMinder provides an eMarketing Platform that delivers solutions designed to enable retailers and other marketers to exploit the reach of the Internet and its wireless extensions to increase sales and customer loyalty. Operating as an extension to an existing web site, the eMarketing Platform empowers marketers to rapidly extract data and graphics from information systems and publish it to the web and wireless networks. Promotions can be quickly implemented that are targeted to aid under-performing stores, to test promotional concepts or to test product assortments.
