FTD.com is adding voice to its web site, enabling customers to navigate the site and make purchases using voice commands.

FTD.com is adding voice to its web site, enabling customers to navigate the site and make purchases using voice commands. Under a deal with voice technology vendor One Voice Technologies Inc., One Voice will receive a commission on sales. Consumers can access FTD.COM`s online shopping content by simply speaking to their computer and, in the near future, by mobile phone and other wireless devices. IVAN will greet visitors by name, answer questions, suggest products and take floral and gift orders.
