Minneapolis-based Resaleworld Inc., which is launching its SaleSafari.com site today, is allowing Minnesota-based shoppers to have the first crack at the low-priced pre-owned merchandise. SaleSafari.com will feature unique merchandise from 11 metro-area resale shops including antique malls, pre-owned apparel boutiques and sporting goods outlets. The company plans to expand beyond Minnesota and already has more than 300 stores signed up for the national launch. Unlike auction sites like eBay, SaleSafari.com merchandise has fixed prices that include Federal Express shipping and handling.
