Rocket Cash Expands Currency Xchange Program

RocketCash, an online gateway that allows consumers to shop on the Internet without a credit card, has expanded its Currency Xchange program by partnering with two additional incentive and rewards sites. RocketCash members will be able to aggregate online currencies and rewards from MyEcamp.com and CafePress.com into their RocketCash accounts and spend them at more than 100 RocketCash merchant partner sites.

Mountain View, Calif.-based RocketCash initiated the first stage of Currency Xchange in April 2000 by partnering with beenz.com, a provider of virtual currency; Cybergold, an Internet incentives and payment technology company that rewards consumers with cash for responding to Web-based ads and promotions; and InfoPost, an online marketplace for digital goods.

The RocketCash Currency Xchange enables consumers to aggregate multiple currencies including online incentive dollars, points, gift certificates and U.S. dollars into one RocketCash account. Beginning in October 2000, RocketCash members will be able to gain more value from their ePoints from MyEcamp.com, a community where teens can express themselves and play games, as well as earn incentive points and dollars from CafePress, a free online service that allows anyone to upload images and design products that they can sell on the site.
