Movie site Reel.com has unveiled a redesign that includes a deeper database, more streaming media, the ability to search for movie show times nationwide, and a video rental guide. The new look, the company says, builds on its "hybrid vertical" business model, which focuses on serving movie consumers while fueling sales and advertising revenue. "With our new site we are now able to provide fun and relevant information and commerce opportunities to movie consumers throughout the entire film distribution lifecycle, which represents a $26 billion overall annual consumer market,'' says Dave Rochlin, chief operating officer of Reel.com.
