New shopping portal to soothe the squeamish

WebBuyingGuide.com, an online shopping portal, is positioning itself as a way for consumers to feel secure in shopping online. WebBuyingGuide offers advice, safety tips, shopping news, online coupons and site reviews. The site's "Web Buying Guide," is an online shopping manual that contains sections on shopping safely, where to shop, how to use the various types of shopping sites (e.g. auctions, haggling and group buying power), and how to save money online with coupons and discounts. WebBuyingGuide.com provides over 100 coupons for use at online stores. Other areas of WebBuyingGuide include the "Buying Guides" and "Product Reviews" sections, which educate consumers about specific items before making purchases, as well as the "Top Online Stores" section which lists the best online stores by category. Under the "Ways to Shop Online" section, users will find shopping site reviews broken down into specific categories including comparison shopping, gift certificates, gift registries, surplus and clearance, auctions, negotiating, and same-day delivery.
