Taking advantage of survey results that show a high proportion of older, high-income consumers are online, 50on.com Inc. is building an Internet shopping mall and already has agreements with 280 affiliates to distribute products and services. The mall should be running within 30 days. Major approved affiliates include 1-800-FLOWERS.com, American Express, AT&T;, Buy.com, Dell, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, GiftBaskets.com, Inc., Hallmark.com, Hershey Foods Corp. and The Golf Warehouse. The site contains links to thousands of sites, with a concentration on health, fitness and financial advice. The site provides tools to allow the user to engage in e-commerce or search through zip code look-up systems for professional services, weather services, news, and lottery results in every state.
