Digital Insight Corp. has signed an agreement with Iconomy.com to develop a global store, which Digital Insight will offer as part of its AXIS eCommerce solution. Clients of Calabasas, Calif.-based Digital Insight will now be able to offer their customers online shopping as part of the Internet banking experience. The global store will contain a broad selection of merchandise with more than 20 different product categories including books, videos and software, as well as computers, consumer electronics, home office products and luggage and travel accessories. Targeted merchandise related to financial planning, investing and banking will also be featured in the store, the companies say. Planned future enhancements include promotional tools such as integrated coupons and gift certificates, as well as account integration. In first-quarter 2000, Cambridge, Mass.-based Iconomy signed more than ten new clients and now claims to reach more than 35 million users per month through its shopping solutions.
