Furnishing the Web

Don Davis

Editor in Chief

Home furnishings and accessories retailer Home Resource, Sarasota, Fla., has launched an e-commerce Web site, developed and hosted by site developer Ad-vantagenet. The new site features an array of selected Home Resource merchandise, a gift registry and other features.

Ad-vantagenet also provided Home Resource with an administrative site so it can update site content and process orders remotely with no ongoing maintenance costs. When sales exceed expectations, the companies say, Home Resource can remove sold out items and replace them with in-stock items.
