Canadian Tire Corp. is looking to fire up its online retailing late this year. And to prepare for that move, it formally agreed to use Blue Martini Software's customer interaction system to power the online business. Canadian Tire says it is Canada's largest hardgoods retailer, with 438 retail stores. The Blue Martini Customer Interaction System is a Java-based system that manages products, content and personalization, as well as providing in-depth analysis and transaction features for merchandising online.
