Bank-Branded Online Shopping

Internet banking and e-commerce solutions provider Q UP, a subsidiary of S1 Corp., has released version 2.0 of the Q UP E-Commerce Portal Solution, which the Austin, Texas-based firm says improves customization capabilities that help financial institutions extend "brand personality" to their accountholders' start page and supports greater control for a complete custom look, as well as unique content and stock tracking. It also features Bank Branded Global Shopping Sites, an affiliate program of fifty merchants that includes such features as shopping for air fares, home and garden supplies and more. To reinforce loyalty and build commercial business locally, financial institutions may choose to keep or omit an affiliate merchant site and replace it with local merchant Web sites, the company says.
