GreenTree.com had medical professionals agree to be part of its advisory board before attempting to raise capital. “We have a group that includes doctors from Harvard, Stanford and Johns Hopkins universities,” says Eric Budin, the company’s vice president of business development and strategic planning. “That added credibility, and it is something we were able to do with very low dollars.”
